Contamos con una infraestructura de maquinas virtuales, virtualizadas por medio de vmWare, consola a la cual no tenemos acceso.<br />Los servidores donde se ejecutan los aplicativos de altisima disponibilidad y concurrencia estaban funcionando correctamente hasta que forma imprevista el load average subio de forma inusual ante pequeñas subidas de procesamiento.<br />Los valores de CPU, memoria, red o disco no justifican dicha subida; y la misma se presentó en varios servidores a la vez. Se detectó por medio del nmon que el proceso haveged estaba consumiendo CPU de forma excesiva, y se revisó el mismo arrojando que el valor de entropía es correcta. Se modificaron parametros de este proceso pero no hubo resultados.

De esos sitios la mayoría utiliza consultas mysql (sitios wordpress) El servidor hace un tiempo tiene mucha sobre carga, tanto así que para solucionarlo temporalmente se programó un script para reiniciar los servicios mysqld y httpd cuando llega a un load average alto. Lo que se requiere es optimizarlo para mejorar su rendimiento, y también poder insertar alguna consola que me marque que usuarios son los que más consumos tienen, o evaluar posibles ataque...

Tenemos un servidor dedicado Linux con CentOS release 6.5 El servidor tiene configurado además Nginx. El problema es que el servidor cada cierto tiempo se queda sin Mysqld y deja sin base de datos afectando a todos los usuarios. La única forma de restablecer es hacer "killall -9 mysqld" para borrar el pid que está en conf..."service mysqld restart". Una solución sería programar un script con cronjob que analice si mysqld está activo y en el caso que no esté activo que haga un reinicio. Aunque lo ideal seria encontrar el porqué se queda sin mysqld.
