MP4 videos dont display in Google Chrome

we have a wordpress site that has numerous MP4 videos, however we have just noticed that on our local machine the MP4 videos are not displaying in Google Chrome- this apparently is a known issue which doesnt seemed to have been resolved and will effect some but not all Chrome users depending on various unknown factors (take a look at the following thread for details - [login to view URL]) We need our videos to display properly in the most common Browsers i.e. Chrome, Internet Explorer and Firefox- we tried the recent "webm" file format but IE doesnt display this. We dont really want to use Vimeo or YouTube for various reasons and looking for a solution to this problem. An example page with video on our website can be found at: [login to view URL] Please note that the videos may display on all Browsers on your PC this is an ad hoc problem but does effect a significant amount of Chrome users (including us) from the research we have done.

This work will involve lot of research & development. We will have to understand the existing code & do certain fixes to make sure it works fine on all browsers. We might also have to change or amend existing feature.
