Overview
This document outlines the user interface requirements for the Backend Web Application, designed to enable users to set up and configure content for casting on various TVs. I will only need a blank theme for wordpress site with matching colors/fonts/logo.
1. Login Screen
• Purpose: Authenticate users to access the system.
• Features:
• Email and password fields.
• "Remember Me" option.
• "Forgot Password" link.
• "Login" button.
• "Sign Up" link for new users.
2. Profile Screen
• Purpose: Allow users to view and edit their personal profile information.
• Features:
• Display user details (name, email, Company Name, Title, Company Size, Address).
• Editable fields for all fields except email, email is readonly.
• Option to change the password.
• "Save Changes" button.
3. List of Configurations Screen
• Purpose: Display all content configurations set up by the user.
• Features:
• List of all configurations with Presentation Name.
• Indicators for active/inactive status.
• "Edit" button to modify a selected configuration.
• "Add New Configuration" button.
• "Set Active" toggle to choose the active configuration.
4. Configuration Add/Edit Screen
• Purpose: Allow users to add new configurations or edit existing ones.
• Features:
• Form fields for Presentation Name.
• File upload input for PDF, PPTX, PPT files.
• Input field for Slide Duration with validation.
• Dropdown for Slide Show Repeat Cadence (e.g., Once, Loop, 5,4,3).
• Carousel preview of slides from the uploaded file.
• "Save Configuration" button.
• Validation and error messaging system.
5. Registered Devices Screen
• Purpose: Display a list of devices authorized to receive content from CastHub.
• Features:
• List view showing each device's TV OS Logo, name, active status, and authorization status.
• "Authorize" or "Deauthorize" toggle button.
• "Delete" option to remove a device from the list.
• "Refresh" button to update the device status.
• "Device Info" modal to show detailed device specifications and last activity.
Technical Constraints
• The application should be browser-agnostic and function correctly across recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
• The UI should be built using material design and exported to Figma
General UI Considerations
• Responsive design compatible with various devices and screen sizes.
• Consistent use of the brand's color scheme and typography.
• Intuitive navigation with a clear hierarchy and logical flow.
• Error handling with clear, user-friendly messages.
• Logo and Theme: Theme should be based on the Image below, Logo needs to be incorporated and cleaned up
