RE: TRANSCRIPTION SERVICES NEEDED
This letter is in response to the current position you have available for a 'Transcriber'.
I am an Australian-based Virtual (Sydney) with over fifteen (15) plus years' experience in administration, audio transcription and data entry. English is my native language.
Due to my past positions, my skills and knowledge include, but are not limited to, all Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, emails, HTML, both Windows and Mac Operating Systems and can efficiently type at 85wpm with 100% accuracy.
I am also well versed in Photoshop and Search Engine Marketing, and have the ability to adapt to, and learn any new programs that may be needed to execute the tasks required.
A position I held for several years was with a Company in Chatswood, Sydney, MPP Executive Centre, was a serviced office space situation, whereby I held the role as a Receptionist, Secretary, PA and Customer Service Representative for a vast range of businesses that leased office space from us. The businesses were as varied and diverse as the nature of the tasks that I carried out for these clients, ranging from Lawyers, Recruitment, Accountants, Real Estate Agents and Consultants.
Another position I held for eight (8) years was with a Company whereby I was employed as the PA/Office Manager for the Directors. One of the key roles of this position was the recruitment of office staff, which entailed placement of the advertisement and interviewing the candidates. This particular role evolved in to a Quality Control Managerial position, which involved me conducting all of the Company's audits and writing up the associated reports with my findings. Liaising and working closely with NATA Certification Staff was also part of this position and was conducted bi-annually.
A recent role I held in a Virtual Assistant capacity, was with a Queensland-based Law Firm, where I took on the role as their Virtual PA, Administrator and Receptionist. The role ranged from drafting correspondence, typing Court documents, prioritising the workload, answering client enquiries, clients' accounts, organisation of travel arrangements, emailing correspondence and meeting urgent deadlines.
My most recent 'virtual assistant / home-based' roles have included audio transcription, data entry, virtual receptionist and customer service and support roles, all being conducted from my home office.
My home office consists of a High Speed Internet Connection, Laptop and Headset, Colour Printer/Scanner/Photocopier, Mobile Phone and I have a 'Skype' account. My daughter is nineteen (19) years old, so my work environment would not be comprised by any noise or disruption. I have a current ABN registered with the Australian Taxation Office.

My Hourly Rate is: $15.00AUD.
