Fullstack Developer Upgrade (NextJS | NestJS)

I'm looking for a skilled fullstack developer with strong experience in NextJS and NestJS. The primary goal is to upgrade an existing website by adding new features. Overview We are expanding our system to handle domain names in addition to company names. This will involve modifications to our search and matching services, updating our event handling, enhancing error management, and ensuring robust integration and testing. Tasks: General Updates Across Services Modify Method Signatures: Update methods across services (findContactPersons, searchCompany, and matchApolloSearch) to accept a new parameter for handling either domain or company names. Refactor Logic: Adjust existing logic in methods to handle searches and matches based on the new parameter. This involves determining whether the input is a company name or a domain and processing accordingly. Search Service Enhancements Expand Search Methods: Rename and refactor searchCompany to a more generic method like performSearch that handles both domains and company names. Implement Domain-Based Search Logic: Add new capabilities in apolloMixedSearchService to handle searches based on domains. This includes API adjustments and new mock responses for domain-based searches. Matching Service Enhancements Refactor Matching Logic: Update SearchMatcherService to accommodate domain names as a valid criterion. This includes modifying the matchPeople function to switch between matching based on company names and domains. Update Matchers: Adapt matchPeopleByField to be generic, allowing matches based on either domain or company name. Event Handling and Integration Extend Event Handling: Modify findContactPersonsEvent to initiate and manage searches based on domains before handling company names. Integration and System Testing: Ensure all components are integrated correctly. Update integration points where methods are called and conduct thorough testing including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to verify system behavior. Error Handling and Logging Enhance Error Management: Implement robust error handling within new domain search methods and update logging to cover the expanded functionality. Ensure detailed logging for both domain and company name searches. Documentation and Code Review Documentation Updates: Update service documentation to reflect the new dual-capability of handling both company names and domains. Code Review: Organize code review sessions to ensure the new code adheres to project standards, is maintainable, and integrates smoothly with the existing codebase.
