Automotive Application Architect (PTC Windchill)

For our location in Munich/Germany we are looking to hire experienced, German speaking Windchill Application Architects to strengthen our existing team. Your Responsibilities • Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications • Use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface of desired product • Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility • Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards • Successfully communicate all concepts and guidelines to development team • Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design • Provide technical guidance and coaching to Software Engineers and Application Engineers • Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc. • Approve final product before launch • Ensure working and adhering to Agile way of working in the Scrum Team Job Requirements • Degree or diploma in mechanical engineering, computer science, engineering, production planning or comparable qualification • At least 7-10 years of proven professional experience as an Application Architect or Software Architect in complex project engagements with large team and multiple stakeholders • Experience of PTC Windchill Application and solution architecture, design, and development of customized solutions developed using Windchill • Relevant hands-on software and application design & architecture experience in PTC Windchill - PDMLink, MPMLink, Workflow, Lifecycle, Windchill Rest Services • Understanding of software quality assurance principles • Ability to develop and improve software applications • A technical mindset with great attention to detail • Strong communication skills, analytical skills, leadership skills and ability to technically drive the team • Very good written and spoken German.
