I am a Christian and an Associate Professor of Philosophy and published author with Oxford University Press and Zondervan on apologetics but that did not help me when I lost my son, Enoch, who died in my arms. It broke me and I did not know how to recover from it. I did not know how to apply my academic research into faith in real life. However, through this experience, I was able to grow and become more productive than I have ever imagined and developed in my faith, my career, and life in general. Because of this, I can encourage other people who have been through similar experiences using science to have a deeper, healthier, more authentic, and productive faith. When a person experiences a traumatic crisis, it could cripple them psychologically, or it can lead to post-traumatic growth (PTG) where the opposite can happen in radical ways! Instead of letting life overcome you, you begin to overcome the dark valleys of life and live it to the fullest.
As a result of this, I have been working on a book on evil from a philosophical yet distinctly personal, Christian perspective but very practical for people who are in pain and are educated.
I have completed 5 chapters already.
Proposed Title. “He Died in My Arms: How Evidence for your Faith can help you Heal from Tragedy and become more productive than ever before”.
