Enhancement and Modernization of DrMHope Software to a Multi-Tenancy SaaS Platform

Project Background: DrMHope is a well-established hospital management software, operational for 14 years and currently deployed in several hospitals, including Hope and Ayushman Hospital. It encompasses modules for OPD, IPD registration, accounts, billing, laboratory, radiology, and EHR, and is installed on local servers. The software is currently running on PHP version 5. Project Description: The goal is to upgrade and transform DrMHope from a single-tenant, local server-based application into a cloud-based, multi-tenant SaaS (Software as a Service) platform. This transformation aims to make the software scalable and accessible to a broader range of healthcare facilities, integrating existing functionalities with new features inspired by the Practo platform. Key Features to Implement: Multi-Tenancy Architecture: Develop a robust, scalable multi-tenant framework for diverse healthcare facilities. User Interface Redesign: Overhaul the UI to mirror Practo's platform, enhancing user interaction. Integration of Existing Modules: Incorporate current features (OPD, IPD, billing, lab, radiology, EHR) into the new system. New Module Development: Include online consultation capabilities, an advanced appointment management system, and a comprehensive patient information management system. Mobile Number-based User Identification: Implement a system with mobile number identification and OTP verification. Advanced Search Functionality: For efficient and detailed client information retrieval. Post-Consultation Services: Provide follow-up services after consultations. Technical Requirements: Technology Stack: Currently using CakePHP with PHP version 5. PHP Version Upgrade: Plan to upgrade to a newer PHP version for enhanced performance and security.
