Open source Math textbook and equation / questions generator

* Ultimately my goal is for an open source mathbook that 1) Public / autodidacts / anyone can edit (within reason, i.e. like a wiki), AND rate teh quality of the explanatons/questions/lessons (i.e. rate the sections, explanations, etc, in the glossary/html/chm/whatever file) and have rankings. I also need a mathematical question generator for this, the kinds of mathematical equations will be highschool grade 11 and grade 12 advanced level, algebra, functions, relations, and introdoctory calculus. I need it to generate sane questions that you would normally find in a textbook, I need this to practice. Any coders out there that are math genius's and would love to do something like this help me out would be a bonus, Ideally if it's any good I would want it open source so everyone could improve it and have a website to give it to students in need like myself, who are doing math on their own without the help of teachers, and who's textbooks have limited amounts of questions. I'd be willing to pay $. I want coders who are 1) SERIOUS ABOUT MATH 2) Serious about QUALITY USER INTERFACES (i.e. can code new UI widgest) 3) Who understand the value of free educational resources so that those with potential can find the resources when they need it when they are unavailable, I don't want anyone to fall through the cracks/miss out, when they LEARN the skills they need to succeed in life or wherever they need those skills. The user interface should be pretty slick and be able to do long division of polynomials, finite, differences, etc. Give immediate feedback on whether or not you've re-written the equation or done your work improperly, and won't accept an answer until it is the correct one in the correct format. Also looking for a the ability for complete symbolic factorization, that will do polynomals of degree 2-4, will be able to factorize polynomials into their base factors, etc. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows and/or web/Flash/PHP/ Whatever user interface or language is needed for the job. Must be able to code new UI widgest that are *math related* and easy to use, must format correctly, i.e. think math equation editor in MSword (and how HORRIBLY cumbersome that thing is lol).
