DAO VB database

DAO Database program VB (Detailed description in zip file attachment) I have nearly finished coding a publication database that helps me keep track of the journal papers I read. The databse iself is quite simple and is made of two forms. The main form which keeps most of the publication details, and the Notes form which allows me to make comments on a paper I am reading. There are a few things I would like done to completely finish this program. (1) The delete command that I am currently using does not automatically delete the child records (i.e. notes) corresponding to the main Publication table. What I would like is for all child records corresponding to the "to be deleted" publication entry to be deleted as well. (there are two main tables in this database. Data1 corresponds to the journal entries table, and data2 corresponds to the notes table.) (2) I also have a bookmark problem. When I open the "notes form" and then close it to return to the main form, I go back to the 1st record. What I want is for the program to remember the record I was at before I added the notes and to return to this record once I close the "notes form". (3) I also would like to implement a "find" function. The forms already have a "find" button, but it is disabled and not visible. What I would like to do is click the "find button" and be able to search "journal titles" or "Authors name". (I set these fields to be indexed when I created the mdb file). What I would like to happen (once the find button is pressed) is for the "Title" and "Last Name" to appear in yellow. Start typing a title "or last name") and the code will automatically complete the rest as I am typing. When I see that it corresponds to the title or author I want, I can then press 'enter' or an "OK" button which will automatically open that record. If there are two titles or two or more authors with the same title (or last name), I would like another form the load with the "last name" ( or "titles") corresponding to the "title" just typed (or "last name") respectively. I can then select the record I want, which will send me back to the main form with just selected record showing. (4) I also want to be able to freely distibute this program over the net, therefore I would require a (free) installation program to come with it, so that people can easily install the program on their THERE IS MORE INCULDED IN THE "README" file in the attachment. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) THIS IS IMPORTANT ---> Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. 4) See detailed description "Readme file" 5) I would also like to know if it is difficult to click on a record contained in the dBGrid and that record will automaticaly load up in the notes form.
