I need a software program created. The program must be able to accomplish the following: allow a subscriber to download any number of video and audio files to a computer, or allow an approved user to access the same video and audio files from a server on demand, with the audio and video files to be created by the programmer containing specific sound and visual content. some files must be able to be manipulated by the end user so that that user may include separate audio, video or visual content The software program must be engineered in a way to allow for playing of any of these files at specific times. The user must be able to select the time of the day for any file to play. The video and audio content for these files must be provided by the programmer. The topic will be provided to the winning programmer. Whether the user downloads the files or accesses the files from the internet, the objective of each version is simple. Version 1: This would be a stand-alone application that would basically be a scheduling agent that can take a group of media clips (audio, video, or animations) and make a play list. Version 2: This would be a Macromedia Flash GUI that would rely extensively on XML data feeds from the internet. This version would be streaming live audio and video from a central server where the user would have uploaded their custom content. This version would make the web site truly portable by allowing any computer to access so long as there is a live internet connection present. I would like the program to be a stand alone application but have an embedded web browser inside the application that would have limited internet access to specified domains that hold the new media content from the internet. As a prevention to unauthorized users getting access to these files, perhaps each of the versions could have a proprietary file format that is unknown to most computer programs, but accepted by the website that has the interface. This would allow the content to be somewhat difficult to distribute because of the custom file extensions. Regardless, the versions should accept most of the popular media formats: WAV MP3 Mp4 Quick Time Windows Media Audio Windows Media Video The selected programmer must have a good command of the English lanuage, be able to communicate patiently and professionally to someone who is not technically accomplished in these matters. Be flexible enought to understand the total concept, and, therefore, offer suggestions to improve or expand the software applications. Have the ability to provide the audio, video or still pictures needed, or even animation. This content will be needed for any number of separate files to be created for selction by the end user. The programmer must be able to understand the end user's needs. Thus, this must be a simple and streamlined process whereby the user, after making the purchase, follows the prompts to download the software program from a website, or receives instructions on how to download the program to a computer (via and email address perhaps), saves the program onto the desktop. The user must then be able to simply run the program with the various files listed, and specify the time of play. Finally, the user must be able to easily upload independent audio or visual files into the program for personalization. When the user is travelling, he must be able to access the website and engage these files from the server. This will probably be a protected access via password/email.
