I want a relatively simple Website creating to sell data. There will only be a couple of products to start with and even in the long term there won't be more than 50 products/items for sale.
The products for sale are items of data, for example, Schools data, Traffic data, Sports data etc., these would be delivered as files of data to be downloaded by customers.
The 'theme' of the website should therefore be 'data', there are some interesting images available from Google that would be useful in creating the site. I am currently trying to purchase the domain [[login to view URL]][1] for the website.
The website obviously needs to have a 'shopping cart' and I would like that to use 'google checkout'.
I would need to have total and independent control over the website and be able to upload new items and descriptions, amend existing items and desciptions and delete unwanted items and decriptions.
I'm unsure about hosting, I may have the capability of doing that myself but would take advice on that.
As a start would you send me some examples of websites that you have designed and implemented that have inbuilt shopping carts.
Regards,
Alan.

All, Many thanks for all of the bids. However, I have to say I'm still reeling at the value of the bids. This is for a very simple website with only a few pages. I don't want anything too clever or fancy. I do need a shopping cart and payment methods but these are just plugins, say 'Roman Cart' and Google checkout or Paypal. I will start off with only a few straightforward file downloads as products. I had thought simple websites would be relatively cheap. I would have thought this would have been only a few days work maximum. My apologies for misunderstanding this, however unless I receive a competitive bid I'll have to withdraw it. Best Regards, Alan.
