Like many webdesign or IT companies we have lots of passwords we need to keep track of. I would like to store those passwords in SugarCRM and control access to those passwords from the Admin side. This would be a new module which we can define which groups or which users can have access to that module on an account by account basis. This will include a section under users where an admin can see what modules they had access to. So a new employee would only get access to passwords that he/she needed. And if that employee left we would only need to change passwords for which he/she had access. Potentially only a few of the passwords for a specific client. What is the best way to implement this with Sugar?

Hi we are a web development company (Melbourne, Australia) currently using SugarCRM too. I have started to build a module for usernames/passwords too as we are long overdue for this functionality. I am about to deploy the first run which includes - FTP details, Domain Name Registrar Information, Server Details (for colocation clients), Other Passwords i.e. customer Paypal, Google and Social Media accounts etc (up to 4 extras). I have it set to hook into the Accounts Module. I am happy to share what I have to date (can easily set up a test instance)and to incorporate your needs into the module so we both get a good product out of it. Please let me know including what version of Sugar you are currently using and explain the level of access you want through the User Management area.

I am going to plan for this work first we create groups( teams ) and roles to access new module which is create by us. and this module save data using soap api in our sugarcrm from another system. and user can retrive their password using forgot password and admin also can manage their password.
