Terminal Server like systray App

Need a application which sits in the system tray, and starts upon boot. Application has two functions. 1. Open a COM (serial) port, and wait for a string of incoming data. Parse the data and hold it in memory for the second part of the application. A new string wil arrive automatically every one or two seconds. 2. Wait for TCP connections on a given TCP port number (for example 8088) and display a one line banner message on the TCP connection. Once the connection is open, wait for single incoming ASCII character. When the character is received, send the stored data from part #1 back to the TCP host. Leave the connection open, and wait for the ASCII character again... Should be able to support up to 12 open TCP connections. Application should keep a log file in the temporary folder for debug purposes. Should be able to tell the status of the application via an icon in the system tray. Should be able to start, stop, and exit the application via the icon in the system tray Bid should include an installer/uninstaller. More details and an example are available later. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows XP and 2000.
