We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack MERN Software Engineer with a robust knowledge of AWS, GitHub, CircleCI, Python, and OpenAI API to undertake a critical project involving the integration of two codebases, completing system documentation, and providing ongoing support to our team. Your main duties will include: - Merging two separate MERN codebases into one, while ensuring the seamless operation of our existing system. - Completing comprehensive system documentation to support user comprehension and future developments. - Providing ongoing maintenance and support for our system, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise. - Mentoring and supporting our team of junior developers, fostering their skills and understanding of the MERN stack, and promoting best practices. Desired Skills and Experience: - Solid understanding and practical experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB, [login to view URL], React.js, Node.js). - Proficiency with AWS, GitHub, CircleCI, Python, and OpenAI API. - Prior experience in merging complex codebases. - Extensive experience in creating comprehensive and understandable system documentation. - Demonstrated history of providing system maintenance and support. - Strong mentorship skills and experience in nurturing junior-level software developers. Work Structure: This project will commence as soon as the right candidate is found. We estimate the code merging process to take approximately 2 months, system documentation to take around a month, and ongoing system maintenance and support to follow. This timeline is flexible and can be adjusted based on your professional recommendation. The selected candidate will be expected to provide weekly updates on progress and have regular meetings with our team to discuss any challenges or changes in the project's scope.
