Responsibilities:- Talend Job Design: Develop efficient and scalable Talend job designs for various data integration and ETL processes. Implement best practices for job design to ensure maintainability, reusability, and performance. Version Control: Implement version control for Talend jobs to manage changes, updates, and rollbacks effectively. Ensure proper documentation of changes made during deployments for ToT purposes. Data Reading and Validation: Design Talend jobs to read data from diverse sources, including databases, flat files, and APIs. Implement robust data validation processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the incoming data. Logging and Error Handling: Establish comprehensive logging mechanisms within Talend jobs to capture relevant information during data processing. Implement effective error handling strategies to identify, log, and address any issues encountered during data validation and processing. Data Separation: Develop workflows within Talend to separate valid and invalid data based on predefined business rules. Ensure proper segregation and storage of valid and invalid data for further analysis and reporting. Environment Configuration: Configure testing and production environments to accommodate Talend job execution, optimizing settings for performance and scalability. Work closely with infrastructure teams to ensure compatibility and resource availability. Deployment Management: Deploy Talend job designs in testing and production environments, ensuring a smooth transition from development to operational phases. Collaborate with DevOps and system administrators to implement efficient deployment processes. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Set up monitoring mechanisms to track Talend job performance in real-time. Troubleshoot and address deployment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain data integrity. Collaboration with QA and Operations: Coordinate with the QA team to conduct thorough testing of Talend jobs in the testing environment. Collaborate with operations teams to implement deployment best practices and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
