Create a Slowly Changing Dimension Type 2 table in SQL

Hello there, I've been working with data warehouse for a couple of years, to make the SCD type 2 we need to load the current data of the tables and we will check by the checksum function if they're the same and we leave it, if not we will update the end date of the record to today and make a new record within the start date as today and the end date is the far future date or null. Hello, I developed SCD type 2 tables at TIM Brasil a couple of years ago and I believe I can help you with your project. Since it is only one table I think 3 days is enough to create the code and to make adjustments in the table, however it is essential to check how big the table is and the storage techniques you're using to be sure the scd version don't become a bottleneck during the use of the table.
