I am running an old version of REDMINE and my server has been updated. So the old REDMINE version is not working anymore. I want to move it to a new subdomain anyway and wondered if it is better to create a fresh installation and move the content and settings from the old version to the new version. Here is the issue: My redmine is offline because "it is too old". ------------------- Error ID: 59b4fe76 Details: Web application could not be started by the Phusion Passenger(R) application server. ------------- The new system runs on: Plesk Obsidian v18.0.55 OS Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS We tried to install REDMINE ourselves but keept running into this error: "App 699590 output: not downloading because PASSENGER_DOWNLOAD_NATIVE_SUPPORT_BINARY=0" The OLD redmine need this lib: libmysqlclient20 But on the server only the new lib is installed. And the support told me to avoid installing and old lib. Makes sense. New lib: libmysqlclient21 Task consists of: 1. Removing the installation I created for REDMINE 5.x. 2. Install newest stable redmine version (I use no additonal plugins etc.) on a subdomain. 3. Move all content and setting from the old redmine version (which is offline and can only be accessed through the server) to the new redmine version. 4. Make the internal "send email" function work as well. Nice to have: Experience in PLESK. And a good chair to sit on and some nice hot coffee or tea! Maybe even a dog or cat to cuddle. Need to have: Patience: Maybe we need to contact the support and wait for answers. They usually answer within 48 hours. Must have: You need root access to the server. Many webpages are running on the server so... DON'T BREAK THE SERVER :) Also I hope it can be done this week. I hope you are up for it!
