Implementation of Cobo-to-Hive Serde

I would like to implement the Cobol-to-Hive Serde on my Cloudera Stack (at this point a Cloudera Quickstart VM). A github link to the Serde is provided below. [login to view URL] I have the following situation: 1. Both my data and the copybook are in text (.txt) file format 2. I use the Cloudera Quickstart VM (virtualbox) 3. I have tried to implement the Serde, but it has not been entirely successfull. A version of my implementation can be found here. See the very bottom of the thread: [login to view URL] What I Need: 1. Implement the Cobo-to-Hive Serde given the data and the copybook (will only be provided to selected freelancers) I provide 2. Write a step by step guide about the implementation, so that I can achieve the same on my own.
