This task may not be as simple as you say because AWS lambda doesn't natively support the requests via elstic IP. You may have to create a proxy in ec2 instance with elastic ip which routes the request to ALB/apigateway. Ping me if you have sometime so that I can understand your requirement better.

I assumes I am the best candidate for this project.? I had reviewed the Project description.I would like to get clarification on point 'get request from elastic ip'. Does elastic ip refer to an EC2 instance? If so is it like some information needs to be passed from the EC2 instance and that information needs to be written to mongoDB (preferably running in another EC2 instance. If this is the case it may be better to consider SQS also, but can be decided at later point based on understanding the requirement better. Further details on what information to be passed from EC2 (is this form any application running on the instance?) Also want to know dependency with mongoDB. Now, regarding time estimates : Once the above questions are clarified and to satisfactory level, and there are no further dependencies with other systems, optimistic estimate is for 24 hrs (3 days).
