SEO for existing website

We have an existing website for our business that was recently redesigned with SEO incorporated into the design. We have received top placement for some our keywords but not all. We are a local company in Jacksonville FL and want to ensure we get top ranking for these area's searches. We offer different type of cleaning services with our main focus on residential/maid services, move in/out cleaning, new construction and remodel cleaning. We also offer commercial/janitorial cleaning. We are top ranking for janitorial but not for the others. We need to have much better ranking for our primary services. we also just added ad sense to our website so would also like to find a way to promote this. Possibly a separate part of the website that can draw in traffic to our ad sense acct. Such as the existing cleaning tips or other pages. I don't want to have too much ad sense on our primary page's as to give possible customers links to other companies websites. I want them to focus on our company and not some one else.
