Mapping fields from Gravity Forms over to Salesforce Account

I am using this Gravity forms Add-on (plugin): [login to view URL] to map fields from my Gravity Forms submission to a new Salesforce account. I have almost all of the fields mapping over to Salesforce perfectly except for 2 date fields. I am trying to use Gravity forms to automatically populate 2 dates: subscription date – the date that the form is submitted, and expiration date: 1 year from the date the form was submitted. I followed directions on this post: [login to view URL] but am running into a wall. While the email submission displays the dates as expected, the dates don’t map over to my Salesforce account. I’d also have a dropdown field in Gravity Forms that I would like to Enable Salesforce Field Mapping for but don’t know how to accomplish this. The plugin ([login to view URL]) states it can be done but It is a custom field and I am running into a wall on this as well. If you have experience with Salesforce, WordPress and Gravity forms, I bet you could help! The more affordable this can be done, the better.
