User Experience (UX) Designer for Surf Photography Website and Mobile App

Job Description: As our UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our website and mobile app. Your expertise will guide the development of an intuitive, engaging, and visually stunning platform that resonates with our surfing community. Key Responsibilities: Design and iterate on user interfaces for our website and mobile app. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights. Collaborate with our product team to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience. Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. Evaluate user feedback and adjust designs accordingly to enhance user satisfaction. Stay updated on the latest trends in UX design and surf photography. Requirements: Proven UX design experience with a strong portfolio (preferably in similar fields). Proficiency in UX design software (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma). Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and site maps. Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction. Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders. Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively. Up-to-date with the latest UX trends, techniques, and technologies. BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a related field is preferred. Nice to Have: A passion for surfing and surf culture. Experience in photography or visual arts. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
