I am looking to design a product that measures the amount of liquid delivered by a tanker. This needs to read a digital flow meter.
The tank receiving the liquid requires a digital level meter which can be calibrated tot he size of the tank.
Then there needs to be a tablet device which is able to connect to the digital flow meter of the tanker, the tank that is being filled.
The amount of liters filled needs to be captured from the digital flow meter as well as from the tanker and this needs to be measured against the identification of the tanker meter and the tank meter.
this then needs to be uploaded to a live server to be updated. This can be done through GPRS. in the event that GPRS is not available, the tablet needs to keep the data and upload at a later stage.
An interface to the live server needs to be available to deliver reports based on the tanks that have received fuel.
GPS locations of the filling also needs to take place, and the flow meter should not allow an opening unless the recipient is configured to receive from the tanker.
A separate project will be created for the front end and reporting from the server that has collected the data.
However, the digital flow meter needs to have received an instruction of a maximum (or unlimited) amount of liters that is to be delivered to a specific tank.
