Hello. My name is Emily Mahon and I am applying for the Native English Writer position. I currently work as an English language instructor in Japan and am looking to once again take on writing work.
In the past, I have worked as a copywriter on other platforms writing about a variety of subjects. As with your company, the companies I have worked with in the past also had a clause stating that I “transfer all the rights to the content you deliver upon delivery and will not publish the content anywhere, including online portfolios, etc., or use it in any other way.", meaning I am familiar with such stipulations.
What do I bring to the table? Due to my work as an English language instructor, I have high standards for writing, spelling, and grammar. Additionally, I have over a decade of experience working in a team setting that requires giving and receiving feedback on a daily basis. As an avid reader, my vocabulary is continuously expanding. I have a wide variety of interests, meaning writing on various topics is a task I would be keen to take on.
What is my availability? I am mainly available on weekends, however, some work could be completed on weekdays. Weekday work would preferably be in the 1000-3000 word range, with longer pieces to be completed over the weekend. Since my current position is full-time, I am looking to supplement that with part-time writing.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
Emily Mahon
