We have a product that allows for data analyis, visualisation. We want to use the same product to get data from various sources such as RPM Meter, GPS, Energy Meters etc. In some cases the data is already in the database; in such cases we can use the current product. However, there are cases where the Sensors directly talk to an IO port. The IO port has been opened at our Azure Cloud installation. We want a program which will read what is coming at the IO port and validate the same, sequence it in such a way that there are no data packet losses and finally send it to the backend database.
