The scope of the project is a simple .Net core 2 / MVC 6 web api and a simple test client. Clients should be created using Visual Studio 2017, Windows Platform, ASP.NET Core 2 MVC, c#, SQL Server (Not SQL Express). We will provide simple SQL server table. Server Web API will be able to 1. Reply to a get request with an simple SQL query retrieving information from a table. 2. Reply to a post request with an update to a database and return status code. 3. Authentication: Authenticate the client against the server with a username/password, a JWT token should be created for the session. We are open to what authentication system you suggest (Local, google based or anything else you have in mind), just specify in your bid what you have mind. Client Side 1. Require to re-enter username/password if client is active for N minutes. Re-authenticate and create a new token if correct username/password entered. If not, keep asking for username/password and allow user to exit application/ 3. Send a get request (Server task #1) and present the results in a grid. Database will have a field called Marked. Any record that has Marked set as 1, will be highlighted in green. 4. Send a post request (Server task #2) by right clicking on the row in the grid and clicking mark row. Marked row will be highlighted in green and the record represented in the marked record in the database will get updated. 5. Apply simple filter to show all records, only marked records (Marked=1) or all records. 6. Form should include on the side a Chromium web object that will navigate to [login to view URL] whenever a button is clicked. It should also include a document completed event fired. Please specify that you read all the requirements and specify how you suggest to implement authentication.

Hi, I checked all the points. I am not clear about the requirement of Point 6. Can you explain what exactly you mean by that. For authentication we can use token based (New method) on we can use key. It mean we will manage API key, user have to send key for all the request. If key found then authenticated or not authorized user (Old method). I have not worked any project in core so i given my timeline 3 days. In this i can look at the core structure and get the work done. But still i will try to deliver before then given timeline. Thanks.

Hello I hace created the webapi in asp.net core 2.1 and having very good experience with get an post requests. I have also used the jwt authentication, facebook, google, office 365 with azure active directory. please give me chace to work on it. if I am using facook authentication the after login into facebook, facebook return reuest code and using that code we will get details of login user and save into our db after saving the data into db we will genrate the jw token for particular time of interval loke 1 hour or 2 hour as per requirements. Thanks

Hello, I've read the requirements and have the following notes: with regards to server side, I have used asp.net core 2 to create JWT's for authentication using both local and social authentication (Oauth). For this purposes of this project I would suggest using local. I would use entity framework for managing the connection to the SQL database. with regards to the client side, it's not completely clear in your spec what tech stack you would like it built on. Would this require a asp.net MVC website style client, a javascript type client or were you thinking about a desktop client (eg WPF/UWP) please feel free to open a chat to discuss.
