I have an asp.net website that was recently migrated to new hosting. One of the page where company input their company profile, it was previously working. But now i am encountering 2 issues on this page. 1. Employer cannot Submit after keying in all the company infos (nothing happens when he click submit button) 2. Admin, when view the company profile page (of earlier submitted entries), will encounter some object type issue as below: Object of type '[login to view URL]' cannot be converted to type '[login to view URL]'. Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code. Exception Details: [login to view URL]: Object of type '[login to view URL]' cannot be converted to type '[login to view URL]'.

Hi, from your description of the exception I would say that problem propably is with the dotnet version in new host. You need to select the same dotnet runtime as it was in the old host. Some of the Libraries doesn't work in the new host. Llazar

Hello Mr./Ms. My name is Ahmed El Maghrabi, I'm a .NET Stack developer, I've experienced with ASP.NET MVC and the latest ASP.NET Core as well as the old classic WebForms. As it seems the issue might be caused by incorrect migration or Framework differences, however, I'll need more details about the error stacks, the hosting environment details including framework version.
