I need to connect this device to my cell phone. I have a wireless router and according to the OEM the app should make this work. Other devices like cameras and thermostats work with my cell phone. This is a somewhat recurring problem I have with devices to connect to a home network. I also use other devices that I can access on the home wifi but not from the outside. So maybe getting the Shelly 1 to work will help with other projects as well.
