Good evening and wassalamu aleikum. I am thinking about developing a mobile application focused on satisfying needs of Muslims, either religious (praying time and direction, although there are lots of such apps around already), or focused on daily life needs (halal food, entertainment etc.) Very broad indeed, but this is the starting point.

Please share your ideas. It may be pretty much anything - game, geolocation service, Islamic art etc., but it should be practical and interesting for an average Muslim.

I announce the prize of USD 200 for the best idea and in the future we will endeavour to cooperate with such a creative author in subsequent development of such an app, inshalla. Looking forward for your feedback and let the most creative idea win.

Sir, can you please clarify one thing? You actually want to set up a business entity and you want Muslims to be your customers right? Your job description does not include anything that would let us know your actual motive. Do you actually want to make Muslims more aware of their religion by making a dawah giving site or you want to make a site that would provide Muslims with product or service and hence earn money. I am asking this because, there are two very different approaches based on those two different motives. I can give you suggestions based on both, but please clarify what do you actually look for. I would be looking for your reply. Thanks in advance.

How about target the younger generation of muslims? With an interactive app that allows kids to interact with it. Such as maybe the muslim bible or snippets from it? That allow them to follow and interact with the story.
