Logo Design for New Women's Fashion Brand

A new women's fashion brand is in need of an appealing logo. The brand produces hand painted silk t-shirts and has an indie, vintage, romantic, handmade feel. The name of the brand is "Black Merle".
The brand aims to project itself to women who are situated in the demographic of 20 - 50 year old women who are sophisticated, educated and appreciative of all things hand crafted and artistic. The silk t-shirts can take the wearer from day wear to night wear with just a pair of heels.
It is a brand that will be based in Sydney, Australia.
Attached are two images of what variants of what the product is projected to look like.
Logo needs to be in JPEG and Ai formats so it can be used for business cards and website design etc. I would prefer the logo to be very simple with colour choice or even monotone as the product itself is quite colourful. Simple font without a illustrated logo is also acceptable.
I am looking for an experienced designer and would appreciate any samples of previous work that you can show me. Future work will also be needed for website/e-commerce design.
