Requirement: experienced Unity3D and C# programmer with good knowledge of animators, animations, character controllers...

I am using a 3rd party character/motion controller asset that enables me to add my own animations for any type of character (humanoid and non-humanoid).

I am also using a very simple 3D model and matching animation from another 3rd party asset.

I need approx. 14 plain animations (idle/walk/run/turn) integrated as so called "motions" into the motion controller. There is detailled documentation of this process. There are many exsiting "motions" included, as well as a motion template to start with.

In this first job, only the *legs* animations need to be integrated!

Being not very skilled in animation stuff myself, after playing with this process I have an idea about the time investment for this job for an experienced Unity3D programmer, having the knowledge mentioned earlier. I had to pick a project size for this job, but I dont expect to expend the upper limit of this selected project size. Of course it is up to you to calculate an appropriate bid.

To be able to place a bid, you *must* check the attached documentation first ("[login to view URL]" as an overview of the motion controller asset and "[login to view URL]" explaining the process of integrating our own animations). It looks more complex than it is - the required steps are basically:

- arrange existing animations in a animation sub-state machine

- create necessary blend trees

- setup the required animation parameters to be controlled by the motion script

- create the integration by motion script, either based on existing scripts or creating new ones based on a template

I will provide the two required assets.

Smoothness of transitions should not be a focus, as I can adjust them to my liking once integration is done.

The character will be moved by a NavMesh agent and a matching component coming from the motion controller asset. I will provide a simple ClickToMove script that can initiate the character movement, either by directly setting the navmesh agent position or by moving an object in the scene that is used by the motion controller's navmesh driver component as a "target to follow". Both techniques must work with the integrated animations.

As a first milestone we will pick 3 simple animations coming with the 3D model (e.g. idle, walk, turn left) to be integrated. Based on your time consumption and quality of results we can plan the rest of the integration.

I am not asking you to create/provide another customized character controller using my own animations. Using the 3rd party motion controller is a basic requirement, as it allows me to use one controller type for all other characters as well (NPCs etc) by just adding the required animations. So if you do this job, there may be more integrations coming your way, and also other jobs related to the same Unity3D project.

You provide your own code/revision management system that you may need.

Target Unity3D version is 2019.4 LTS
