I am native in English, German and French. My mother is half Swiss half French and my father is Irish. I finished my third level education in Schaffhausen, 10 min from the German Border. 6 years ago I moved to Ireland, to pursue my career in IT Sales. As territory manager responsible for the DACH market in an American startup company, my daily duty is to communicate in the above mentioned languages. I might not be the cheapest out of the other bidders, but will definitely deliver excellence throughout.

I have studied the German language since 12 years of age and currently live in New Zealand and am a native English speaker. I have also spent 3 months in school on Exchange in Germany so have relevant cultural experience and experience in a situation of native German fluency. I study at the University of Waikato towards a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in German - International Languages and Cultures. I have completed my 3rd year of German language study, including study in Translation Methodology and Practice in which my final grade was an A. I have experience, therefore, in all translation sectors, in its practice and methodology. I have a passion for languages (also studying Spanish and Japanese) so I will not disappoint you. I am reliable and as a university student, I know how to stick to a deadline; I am one to always hand my assignments in days early. I prefer not to use translation technology in my translations as I find it leads to unidiomatic translations. Therefore, I use both cultural and technical dictionaries - I have many dictionary options and therefore am able to choose and make use of a dictionary that relates to the translation at hand. As previously stated, it is a subject I have studied in University and passed very well, in this respect I have experience in translating in a professional manner and to a deadline.
