I run a shared web hosting company on 10 very high performing server. Using Cpanel and Ensim for Control Panel. I'm interested to take my hosting to a new level and need help with this my guys have less experience with.
To start off I would like to implement load balancer. From my research LVS is the best of the buck (or no buck) as long as it installed properly.
I'm opened minded to hear other solutions including Fault tolerance, Clustering or any redundant solution
At the end of the day the ultimate goal is drastically improve uptime or completely eliminate downtime.
For now I will ask you make a bid on this, but we will have other future projects including.
A proper spam filter solution
And dealing with spike badnwdith

You require cluster for high availablity and load balancer for loading traffic. For deployment of load balancer you should have atleast 3 servers. One will only deal with load balancer implemention. Remain two have Más
we began use lvs cluster from 2001, and now we have about ten load balanced server farms in producation,all farms running perfect.
