I need to create a laboratory management system online that simplifies how samples are submitted and monitored through their testing lifecycle. The site should offer a seamless user experience for both lab technicians and clients, ensuring secure and efficient sample handling. Later APP would be needed. For now just develop the capability online.
Functionality:

- Sample tracking from submission to results delivery
- Barcode scanning for quick sample identification
- Push notifications for status updates
- Integrated payment gateway for services
- User profiles to manage submissions and view history
- Advanced search functions and test panel selection
- Robust backend system for result postings and updates
1. User registration and login: The user will need to create an account and log in to access the features of the laboratory services. They can access from our website
2. Test ordering: The user can select the tests they want to order from a list of available tests and add them to their cart. ( yes, user should be able to enter a list of their samples s names and select type of test from our panels for each sample )
3. Test scheduling: The user can schedule a date and time for the tests to be conducted.
4. Sample submission: the system should create a bar code and notify the user when samples are created and submitted: 2) when the lab receive the samples; 3) when results are ready
5. Test results: Once the tests are completed, the user will receive the results online. there should be a back end for lab staff to enter results for all samples and panels selected under step #2 above. compile the information in a formatted PDF file for the client to see and download
6. Payment: The user can make payment for the tests onlinr using various payment methods. ( Clients can be given options to pay here by credit cards, but No payment here should not stop clients from completing the form and submitting samples. It should allow lab staff to upload invoices later and notify clients.
7. Feedback and reviews: The user can provide feedback and reviews about their experience with this functionality
8. Notifications: The system will send confirmation to the user about their scheduled tests, payment status, and test results and notify when samples are received and when results are ready
9. Thank you, Contact and support: A thank you message and invite users to contact the laboratory if any questions
