The project is quite simple for a person who's PHP savvy, I'm not looking for a software company, but rather, a passionate software developer for more jobs in the future.
The idea is to integrate the Amazon Merchant Web Service - MWS (not AWS) library and expose it using a PHP RESTful API, and, in the future implement services leveraging this API.
So, the MWS is for sellers in Amazon, I want you to help me to create a RESTful API:
+ Secure login based on tokens (if you have something better tell me about it.)
+ Fast, Fast, really Fast execution time... if we can have the DB in memory in order to reduce IOs even better
+ We need to modify the current MWS library, it takes the configuration values from a files, when I think should be by parameters within the functions. Not that hard from my point of view (sounded like end user - sorry about that)
+ Enable persistence using MySQL.
What do I have so far...
+ I have the Amazon library in Php
+ I have a coding environment in [url removed, login to view]

+ A MWS account off course.
I did some research and the fastest PHP framework for this job is Phalcon PHP, so if you know how to use this framework is a plus for you, if you do not know how to use it, but you're passionate and willing to learn.. go for it.
What are the deliverables I expect:
+ A MySQL database where I save the configuration
+ All the lines of code required for this solution to work
+ A minimum 1h code review.
+ A fully working solution within my codeanywhere account.

About me: Software engineer by formation +15 years, worked in very big projects as software developer, then team lead, architect and project manager. So, I know I want, yet, I do not know it all, there's always something to learn. I know what a good developer does and does not.
Regarding the methodology I expect to use, simplified agile, 1h to define what will be within the "sprint" and 1h for code review and demo. 1 week sprint would be nice.
If you have more questions let me know, I expect you to propose how long with it take to develop this API, I know you have several questions, but, send me your top 5 and I will answer.
