I am glad to inform you that, this such a kind of job is for me like my daily exercise. YES ! The cron job is my daily routine practice and mapping is not a big deal for me. Plan to successfully finish this project : (1) I have to look into the excel file first (2) Based on excel files column i have to match (Mapping) with database column So here your first task is finish, (3) To check each time if there will be a new records, i have to make a cron job, The cron job that means the code / script which will be fire at exact time which you want to set. For example, i made a script which check the another website as if new data comes up or not.... and i set the time 6:30 AM everyday... That means the script will be run 6:30 Everyday and get the new or old or every records from the server. once i will get the response from the server then i have to do data processing within database. This is a way to start and finish your job successfully. I hope this information will be an enough to start and finish this project.
