So I need the file manager app to also have a alarm clock and time tracker...all in 1
I want to use it for our car rental
We create a file for each car.
This file represents our asset and should always remain in view, and never ever gets deleted, it just changes its status.
So all and every car has a unique registration number and fleet number, this is how we identify each file.
The file has purchase / acquisition details , which are fields of information , notes and copies of documents.
We either sell the car, in which case, it's straightforward, the file will contain the buyers docs and details.
It would effectively be a dormant file...but contain the details of when we purchased it and from whom, as well as when we sold it and to whom, with relevant docs and financial details stated therein or as PDF scans..
The remaining files are active files, which means they are part of our rental fleet , and also available for sale at any time.
This should be a complete asset listing that is a firm fixed list
If the car is rented out, we need the system to track and ask for renter details , like copy of licence and contact number with passport or identification number, plus e mail..
Simultaneous to its normal position in asset listing.-
Simultaneously, the payment information should be contained in the billing sub section of the file,
1-the asset has a file created for it , we then keep that file and it never gets deleted, it just either goes away into a sold status, or it cycles as part of the rental fleet and moves from available to rented out , and we get alerts and alarms based on what is supposed to be happening with that asset,
2-It also in turn creates and generates sub-files, where asset is returned , but awaiting quote , repair, inspection and or service...
And 3- further sub file of client, which also get into a date and time line listing, but here the client data allows that actual car file to revert to its position in the asset list and be available to next client or rental or sale etc, with this sub file category broadly getting into -
Refund due
Repair due
Claim due.
