I’ll try to show a typical scenario.
Our company is working on many construction sites, and we have to manage assets from gas tanks to forklifts and various equipment.
We also need to manage the invoices and paper work we receive each time.
Some items arrives with a barcode already applied, some we need to create one (barcode or qr code).
Those items stay on the site for a while, then can be dismissed, returned or moved on another site.
Basically we need a DB where we can add those items and track statuses.
We have dedicated servers (Windows/Linux) to support the development.
It would be nice to also be able to access this DB both through the android app and a web server.
And this should be managed by more than one user, so we need many accounts to access the same flow, also track who changed the status.
Another section we may need is the one about paperwork: we may need a small section where users take pictures of papers and store with a reference code, they may also be linked to an asset.
