MDI Upgrade Questions VB.NET 2003

Hello... I need a few specific things from someone with the correct knowledge / experience. I am re-writing an application I currently have from VB6 to VB.NET 2003. I'm looking to pay someone to save me some time with this specifically: 1) Setup a couple of simple grids using Infragistics NetAdvantage Suite 2003 - from a Janus Grid 2000b on the VB6. You can see in the example exactly what I need. 2) Take a few combo boxes (one single column and one multi-column) and make them work with unbound [login to view URL] to SQL Server query. I have the ADO stuff done with the loop from the dataset - I Can't get it into the UltraCombo. 3) I have a MDI form (main app form) and it is the app default form that opens first. It calls splash screen, then displays login dialog box. Upon successful validation it returns to the MDI form awaiting menu selection to open other MDI child forms. I need someone who knows how to manage these forms in VB.NET environment - its very different than from VB6 and I'm having some problems. 4) I am also having a problem with an IPWorks/NET IPPort control. For some reason its not firing the OnDataReceived event. Have same problem with enabling a timer, it doesn't fire the tick event which strikes me as odd. I can't be the only one having these problems or I'm missing the boat somewhere :) As you can see - I really just need some hand-holding to get me through how to do a few simple things in VB.NET 2003 and with a few of the tools I use with it. I am willing to pay hourly for this assistance but I expect bids only by someone who knows how to do this stuff the right way. I want to invest my time and money once to have it done the right way - not just make it work by cludging it together. Depending on how much you can help me (with only one bullet above, or all of them) I'll pay you as much as its worth to me. Could be less than $100, could be a whole lot more. I just need to get a good return on my investment. I have nSoftware IPWorks/NET and Infragistics NetAdvantage Suite 2003 Release 2. Also use Polar Component Suite for some crypto routines. If you have these then thats great, if not I'll see that you get what you need to help me.
