Magento Plugin Page Pagination fix

First of all please only bid if you can work right now.
I have a magento site with a professional template. I have added a "shop by brand" plugin. Now the brand page that has been created using this plugin is not using our standard pagnination block so while our home page shows 9 results per page as default, it shows 8 and hence causes a missing product on last line.
Second problem is that we have modified the code on category pages so that latest added product is shown first. That is also not working on that new created page by the plugin. Magento version is 1.8.1
