I2C communictaion between Arduino and Raspberry pi

I am trying to connect Arduino mkr1000 to Raspberry Pi 3 by I2C communication channel using Simulink.
- Arduino sends data to Raspberry Pi3 at a certain sample rate.
- Raspberry Pi3 receives the data and send an acknowledgment message to Arduino.
The project deliverables will be as follows:
1- Simulink Model for the receiver (Raspberry Pi 3).
2- Simulink Model for the transmitter (Arduino).
3- A schematic for the hardware connections between both devices
4- A short video showing that it's working at your end.
The project will be completed once the project is running at my end.
