Server-side Download Feature

At the moment, our project has a particular functionality when downloading a set of variables. This method is triggered by a button that pops up a window asking the user to write to a local directory. Something that is not desirable. At this moment the code is in client-side and to be able to write to a directory of the server will have to be migrated to server-side. Our goal is, before this method, to develop the functionality so that whenever this button is triggered, the file will be saved in the 'dataset /' directory of our server. We already have a NodeJS server running through the initialization of the 'http-server' dependency. This is how we run the server. We are using a similar download method as this one: [login to view URL] However, we would like to, instead of, popping up a window asking where to save the file, save that file in our specific server-side directory. Nevertheless, we can do a different method.
