I'm urgently in need of a highly skilled chrome extension developer to create a unique browser tool. This extension should possess certain features:
- It has to be able to capture audio in the background.
- It should continue capturing audio even if the user closes the popup menu.
- The extension must be compatible with Manifest v3.
Upon successful capture, the recorded audio should firstly be saved locally on the user's device, and secondly, an automatic upload to a designated cloud storage should be executed.
Ideal candidate would have proven experience in JavaScript or a background in creating chrome extensions. Familiarity with use of APIs to connect with cloud services would be a bonus, as the project entails uploading the captured audio to the cloud. Knowledge of modern browser extension development and Manifest v3 is crucial for success in this project. Act fast - time is of the essence.
I just want a code module that allows audio recording to continue in the background even if the user closes the popup (i.e. chrome extension panel) during audio capture.
The version must be Manifest v3, not Manifest v2.
Frontend design is not important, but only the function.
