A website applet in Java is required in order to show and simulate the function of cache memory in a MIPS processor. 3 cases of cache memory will be implemented (direct-mapped, set-associative, fully-associative) and a mock programme in assembly should run under these 3 scenarios. The data paths between the cache and the memory should be presented in a graphic mode and statistical facts, such as hits, misses and hit/miss ratios should be shown. The applet should have a friendly-user interface and layout.
