Mac OS X/iOS UI Developer needed

I desires to find world-class Apple Human Interface development “rock stars” that possess a stellar Mac UI portfolio of accomplishments, and can think out of the box to develop a high-end, creative and clean user experience. This individual or group must have deep knowledge and recent experience with regards to the development of a Mac OS X and iOS (iPhone/iPad) user interface (UI). The development of the user interfaces must adhere strictly to the Apple Human Interface Guidelines as set forth by Apple. Key design assumption is a given end user will have NO technical acumen whatsoever and therefore the UI must deliver unprecedented ease of use. The Mac OS X UI we would like to create is relatively straightforward, consisting of just 4 main panes: • Home pane • 2 x application specific panes • Settings pane We also anticipate 5 modal views/popover panes … so ~9 windows to develop. The slightly abridged iOS (iPhone/iPad) UI version shall have a similar number of panes/popovers, but differs in two main aspects: 1. User interface should exploit incremental UI features available in iOS as needed, but only if it enhances/streamlines the human experience 2. Workflow shall be modified as appropriate to support the application and platform We anticipate two phases to this project: • Phase 1: development of Mac OS X/iOS UI functional prototype • Phase 2: completion of final UI, and integration into back-end application A detailed functional design specification will be provided after the signing of a Non-Disclosure Agreement (attached). An Intellectual Property Invention Assignment Agreement must also be executed by the developer awarded the bid. We are looking for the very best who have the following domain knowledge and attributes: • Magical ability to create a simple, attractive, and elegant UI design and prototype. • Ability to tie and link the UI to the underlying source code • Deep development expertise across Mac OS X, Objective-C, Cocoa, Safari and iOS (iPhone/iPad) • Strong knowledge in WebKit, Xcode (including Dashcode), Cocoa and Cocoa Touch Frameworks is also a must have requirement Of Note: • This is an evolving project and the UI development needed is well beyond just for our version 1 product. As such there is potential for additional work and a Long-Term Contract. • There is also an opportunity to receive further compensation in the form of year over year dividend payment in addition to the bid award amount for this and other development projects if you possess the right Mac skills, expertise and creativity that we are looking for. • We anticipate to be working with these individual(s) over a ten year span of time and seek the very top at their craft within the Apple domain. • We shall provide significant incentives to attract and retain the right freelance individual or group based on their ability to create and execute against the UI design requirements and timelines as set forth.
