I have a picture of a coat of arms that I need to be rendered in black and white. I need an artist to sketch the photo so there is only solid white and solid black. "Artwork needs to be in black on a white background without any color, grey or shading, which cannot be reproduced by engraving. Additionally, the art needs to be about 5" in size, with no pixilation when viewed at that size"
Our engraving software will reverse the art during the engraving process. Please let the artist know the following:
Artwork needs to be in black on a white background without any color, grey or shading, which cannot be reproduced by engraving. Additionally, the art needs to be about 5" (127 mm) in size, with no pixilation when viewed at that size. Text needs to be at least 3 mm tall when the art is viewed at the size of the stamp to be readable. Lines need to be at least a 1 point stroke or thicker as the lines will appear thinner in wax that in the graphic proof. Any details that are small that are important to you need to be made larger. Please have the artist view the art at the size of the stamp before sending you the art so they can see any issues with it. I would like a "banner" scrolled on top (same size as the bottom "banner") with the word "AMBASSADOR" written in the same font and size as the "The Way, The Truth, The Life"- included a picture for reference, not to scale just for an example of where to place it on the coat of arms.
The stamp will be 1 3/8" (35mm)
