VBA Macro needed

Hi there,

To implement this project you will need access to MS Project and Excel.

I need someone to write a VBA/macro that would pull information on testing activities from an MS project schedule into an excel workbook, to populate a simple report within the excel document.

The MS Project schedule contains several projects, up to 20 projects at a time. I would like to know when the following testing activities are planned to occur and be completed on projects to determine if there any scheduling conflicts exists.

The testing activities are titled: SIT, UAT, QA and IV&V. And they are consistently titled across projects. So the schedule of every project will contain activities called SIT, UAT, QA and IV&V (as shown below).

A testing conflict occurs when similarly titled activities occur at the same time (or at overlapping times) across two or more projects. So if two projects are planned to do SIT at the same time, this creates a conflict.

The macro should go thru each line of activity in the project schedule, and when it encounters any of the above-mentioned testing activity, pull information on the project name, system name, test name, % work complete, duration, planned start and finish dates, actual start and finish dates (see list of info to be pulled below).

This info pulled into the excel workbook should then be used to populate the tables in the attached excel report.

Note: Within the table within the Testing Data tab, the testing information is grouped in the table by the Test Name. So all SIT tests are grouped together etc.
