Ortho Sprout is a US-based, niche job board dedicated exclusively to Orthodontic Professionals. We are looking for a talented and versatile blogger to write an ongoing series of articles for us with a focus on hiring, recruiting, interviewing, culture building, team building, etc. We have dozens of topics and inspiration/reference material we will provide to you. All we need is for you to work your magic. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: Experience editing industry trades, preferably in the health and life sciences Experience working with web content, specifically for mobile MUST HAVE a Strong working knowledge of SEO principles and writing techniques. Ability to write for both consumer and brand Excellent understanding and execution of AP Style guidelines An eye for detail while producing quality content under deadline Strong communication skills, with a quick response time Ability to produce 1-2 articles per week Masterful and eloquent command of the English language. An understanding of direct response language A succinct writing style that gets the point across with as few unnecessary words as possible. Experience with corporate copywriting and editing. Some writing for HR would be nice, but not necessary. The ability to blend lifestyle blogging with corporate identity writing. Ability to compose eye-catching headlines that grab attention and get clicks. Payment Terms We are prepared to offer a fixed rate per article based on length. Articles will typically range from 300-600 words. Some will be longer, some will occasionally be shorter. Please provide links to your portfolio or links to your live articles. If you can’t provide any, we’ll accept them in PDF.
