I need branding for an online art store

I am building a website that sells AI-generated art which can be made into framed artwork and canvas, glass & metal prints. The brand should focus on the artistic quality of the site, not necessarily AI. I chose the domain “[login to view URL]”.

I want something colorful and complex like the iridescent coloring of a hummingbird. I’ve generated and attached some images of hummingbirds. My intent is that the beauty and coloring communicate an artistic quality while the complex, pseudo-surrealistic qualities are suggestive of technology - particularly an artistic interpretation of technology.

I want something bold and authoritative that makes a statement that the images being sold are true works of art and not crude constructions that were created using a computer.

I’d like a complex, colorful logo, but also another derivative, simpler design with a limited color palette. I will showcase the complex design on the website, emails, gift cards, business cards and sticker branding. The simpler design would be used for silkscreen printing on cardboard packaging and in places on the website where space is limited.

I also need a color palette for the website. I feel that some palettes cannot be well utilized on websites because of the artistic limits on UX. I think usability supersedes art because of the need for whitespace, readability and simple, easy to understand layouts and controls. I mention this because I’ll be doing the website design and I do not want to deviate too far from the palette. I need colors that are both analogous for things like headings and layouts, but also complimentary for buttons, links and call to actions. I often struggle with palettes for this reason and tend to deviate. I’ll be designing the website because I want it to be functionally driven, and function is often limited by factors outside of design.

I would really like to use the hummingbird in some way because of the beauty it conveys. Definitely no profile views that only display a single wing. That feels overused and cliche. I’d prefer something with a more three dimensional appeal like the image I attached of the bird on the white background. However, I often get tunnel vision when it comes to design. If my vision is better communicated using something other than a hummingbird I am open to it.

The Illustrator files need to be very clean and well organized. I’ve worked with too many deliverables that are sloppy, poorly structured.
